This policy applies to all pages and services under the tiv360.com domain. If you have questions about anything below, please reach out — we're happy to talk through it.

What Information We Collect

We keep data collection minimal. Here's what may be collected and why:

Contact Form Submissions

When you fill out a contact or estimate request form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and project description. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Comments

If you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect your name, email address, website URL (optional), and the content of your comment. Your IP address and browser user agent are also logged to assist with spam detection. If you have a Gravatar account, your profile picture may appear alongside your comment.

Cookies

This site uses cookies in the following limited ways:

  • If you leave a comment and opt in, your name, email, and website are saved in cookies for one year so you don't have to re-enter them next time.
  • If you log in to the WordPress admin area, temporary session cookies are set to manage your login. These expire when you close your browser or log out.
  • Analytics tools (see below) may set cookies to understand aggregate traffic patterns.

Analytics & Traffic Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console to understand how visitors interact with our site — pages visited, time on page, traffic sources, and general geographic regions. This data is aggregated and anonymized; it does not personally identify individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether ad clicks result in contact form submissions or other goal completions. We do not use Google Ads remarketing or audience targeting features. No remarketing cookies are set and visitor data is not used to serve ads on other websites.

Embedded Content

Some pages include embedded content from YouTube, Google Maps, or other third-party services. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that service directly — those providers may collect data, set their own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

Uploaded Media

If you upload images to this site (admin users only), please remove embedded location data (EXIF GPS) beforehand, as uploaded images are publicly accessible and that data could be extracted by visitors.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To respond to inquiries, estimates, and project requests you submit through our contact forms
  • To moderate and display approved blog comments
  • To analyze site traffic and improve our content and user experience
  • To measure the effectiveness of any Google Ads campaigns
  • To maintain security and prevent spam or fraudulent activity

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party — ever. We do not use your data for advertising targeting, and we do not share it with marketing partners.

Who We Share Your Data With

We share your data with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate this website and respond to you:

  • Google Analytics / Search Console / Ads — aggregated, anonymized traffic and performance data
  • Akismet / spam detection — comment content and IP addresses may be checked against automated spam databases
  • Web hosting provider — server logs may capture IP addresses and request data as part of standard hosting operations
  • Gravatar (Automattic) — if you leave a comment, your email is hashed and checked against Gravatar's service to display a profile picture

None of these services receive your data for marketing or advertising purposes on our behalf.

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form submissions — retained as long as needed to fulfill your request or maintain our business records, then deleted.
  • Blog comments — retained indefinitely once approved, so follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically. You can request deletion at any time.
  • Analytics data — Google retains GA4 data per your account settings (typically 14 months for user-level data). We review aggregate reports; we do not export or store individual-level analytics data.
  • WordPress account data — if you have an admin account on this site, your profile information is retained as long as the account exists.

Your Rights Over Your Data

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data (subject to any legal obligations to retain it)
  • Portability — request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Opt-out — opt out of any non-essential data collection or communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA — Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.): You have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to delete it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law. No "Do Not Sell or Share" opt-out link is required because we do not engage in the sale or sharing of personal data. To submit a data request, contact us directly and we will respond within 45 days as required by law.

How We Protect Your Data

We take security seriously. Our practices include:

  • SSL/HTTPS encryption on all pages — data transmitted between your browser and our server is encrypted
  • Strong password policies and two-factor authentication for all admin accounts
  • Regular WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates to patch security vulnerabilities
  • Managed web hosting with server-level firewall and intrusion detection
  • Regular off-site backups so data is never permanently lost

No system is 100% foolproof, but we apply current best practices and take data protection seriously as a technology company.

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to other websites — client sites, partner resources, or reference materials. Once you leave tiv360.com, this privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking business services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our site, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

AI Crawlers, Bots & Automated Scraping

Standard web crawling by search engines — including Google, Bing, and other legitimate indexing bots — is permitted in accordance with our robots.txt settings. These crawlers index our content to make it discoverable in search results, which is the intended purpose of this public website.

We do not grant permission for AI companies, large language model (LLM) developers, or dataset aggregators to scrape, reproduce, or use content from this website for AI training datasets, model training, or any automated bulk content extraction. This includes but is not limited to crawlers operated by OpenAI, Common Crawl, Anthropic, Meta, Apple, or any other entity collecting content for machine learning purposes beyond standard search indexing.

All original content on tiv360.com is the intellectual property of The Inventor's Velocity LLC and is protected under United States copyright law. Unauthorized bulk reproduction or use for AI training purposes is a violation of those rights. If you represent an AI company and wish to discuss licensing, contact us directly.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this policy or your use of this website shall be resolved in the courts of Sonoma County, California.

This website is operated from the United States and is intended for US-based users. We make no representation that this site or its content complies with the laws of any jurisdiction outside the United States. If you choose to access this site from outside the US, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

Significant changes will be noted on our blog or homepage. Continued use of this site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
