Velocity
I've been building websites since before most people knew WordPress existed.
I started in 2008 when there were no page builders, no drag and drop, no tutorials for everything. You learned by getting into the code, figuring out why something broke, and building it better the next time. I literally printed out entire WordPress theme PHP and CSS files and taped them down a hallway to understand how everything connected. That's the foundation everything else was built on.
From there the work scaled up. I spent years as a WordPress contractor for Mayo Clinic — one of the largest healthcare systems in the world — building and managing web properties for major departments, and converting legacy Adobe Contribute and Dreamweaver sites to WordPress during the 2011–2013 migration era. Enterprise level project management. Real deadlines. Real stakes.
After a decade in Rochester, MN, I relocated to California wine country and expanded into new markets without losing the Midwest roots. In California, The Inventor's Velocity has worked across some genuinely unique industries — professional trading card grading with custom FileMaker database integration, thoroughbred race horse farms, cannabis brands, food and hospitality, and tourism-driven local businesses that depend on being found online.
FileMaker integration is a rare skill in the WordPress world — building REST API bridges between FileMaker databases and live WordPress environments so that complex business data flows seamlessly into public-facing web features. Not many web shops can do that. TIV360 can.
